Change begins with Reading & Writing

Seventy percent of kids in rural Cambodia never complete grade six. Many of these kids never learn to read and write. But things are different at the Jumpah School. Parents now have an affordable opportunity for their kids to get an excellent education.

To be precise, 195 children from at least 8 different villages are getting an education that their parents and even their older siblings did not receive.

Most of our classrooms are full, some beyond full. We've actually turned away some kids, and that breaks our hearts. But there's NEW HOPE for more kids, for more families.

A family foundation gave money to build six new classrooms and to hire and train additional teachers.

Now Jumpah needs YOU, as well.

The three-story structure is rising where once pigs and chickens lived. But we need good quality paint, we must install the electrical system with lights and fans in each room, and we need to build tables, chairs, teacher desks, cabinets, and shelving units.

All of that will cost about $25,000.

As of this writing, Jumpah has received about $8,000 for this important need.

You can help complete the entire building by the time the new school year begins in October, 2018.

Your gift means you will help more kids have the Opportunity to access a quality education. Your gift will give Hope to parents who have never been able to send their other children to a school like the Jumpah School.
